A downloadable show

A berserker's at the circus, and they're ruining everyone's performances! And all you have to stop them is a stack of custard pies, a squeaky red nose and your own wits. But the show must go on!

Honk! is a family-friendly parser-based puzzle text adventure. It placed 4th in the 29th Interactive Fiction Competition 2023. It takes about two hours to beat, maybe more if this is your first text adventure. There's a goose and a bunny in it.

Download only for now, and you'll need a Glulx interpreter such as one listed here to play (I use Windows Git, but Lectrote and Gargoyle are two popular choices for Windows, Mac and Linux users). Online version to come with a future post-competition update.

Zip file also comes with a walkthrough and the source code for Inform 7.
